Lahni and Owen’s Wedding

We recently had the pleasure of providing two hours of cocktail service for a wedding just outside Murwillumbah, Northern New South Wales, and it was one of our favourite events to date. As a mobile bartending business servicing the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, we love nothing more than bringing great drinks and a fun atmosphere to weddings in beautiful, regional locations like this one.

We arrived early and had everything set up before guests arrived, always a must when providing professional wedding bar service. With torrential rain rolling through (which is never unusual in this part of the world), we adapted quickly and set up under a gazebo to keep things running smoothly. Flexibility is key when hosting outdoor weddings in Northern NSW, and we always come prepared.

For this wedding, the couple each selected a signature cocktail, which we love, it adds such a personal touch. They even named the cocktails that meant something special to them.

• The bride chose a pickled pepperoncini spicy margarita, a special request and a unique twist on a classic chilli marg. It was an absolute hit and has quickly become one of our favourite cocktails to make.

• The groom went with an Old Fashioned, which proved very popular among the guests, especially the gents.

• To balance it out, the third cocktail was a Limoncello Spritz, a lighter, refreshing option that paired perfectly with the others.

Luckily, as guests began arriving, the rain cleared and the sun came out, perfect timing. We served cocktails for two hours to get the celebrations underway before guests made their way to the chapel for the ceremony. The energy was high, the drinks were flowing, and the cocktails were the perfect way to kick-start an unforgettable wedding.
